Honors Points Guidelines

Attention members! We have added Honors Points to DOT.

Humans, Vampires, and Werewolves will compete against each other to win a special surprise, and the satisfaction of being The Best. :) Every member of DOT is sorted into one of these three groups (Humans will only recieve points if they have registered human characters, sorry). Here's some of the ways you can win points for your group:

  • Becoming a canon character: 50 points.
  • Introducing a new member: 20 points.
  • Winning Member of the Month: 40 points.
  • Winning Thread of the Month: 15 points per person.
  • Introducing yourself: 20 points.
  • Advertising DOT: 50 points.
  • Making 50 posts: 20 points.
  • Posting once in the RP Academy: 20 points.
  • Posting in attendence: 10 points per post.
  • Posting a profile: 10 points.
  • Posting a plot: 10 points.

More ways to earn points will spring up across the boards, so keep your eyes open!

If you have more than one character, it is not possible to divide your points. You'll have to decide which group you want to give your points to. This applies to introducing new members, advertising, et cetera. Obviously the first time you introduce yourself will be the only time you recieve points for it, don't introduce yourself on every account that you make.

Admins and modorators will keep an eye out for all of these things, and post in the points boards. They will also award points (the ammount at their discretion) for exceptional posts or extremely helpful members.

If you have a canon character and you go inactive, your points will be deducted from the compeition. However, if you do post in attendence and the admins decide to revoke your account after a long period of inactivity, your points will not be removed.


**IMPORTANT NOTE: to recieve points for advertising, you must PM one of the admins with a link directly to the advertisment in order to recieve your points.
